The short answer to the question of why are contractors so expensive is simple; being in business is expensive. Our labor costs, material costs, vehicle insurance, workers compensation, rent, vehicle loans, marketing expenses, CPA’s, lawyers, vehicle maintenance, bank fees for accepting credit cards, commissions to employees, employee incentive programs and taxes all have INCREASED and continue to increase.
