1) Have a clear scope of work before reaching out. You may not have all the details figured out (that is what we are here for) but have a good idea of what you and your spouse would like to do for your project. A good example of what not to do: The wife wants to remodel the bathroom, but the husband wants to just paint the walls in the bathroom. One wants to spend thousands of dollars and the other not so much. Have these conversations before you reach out to your contractor. When you both are on similar pages, then reach out and we can help finalize all the details and questions.

2) Details in person or on the phone, but e-mails and texts keep them short. We love a good back story. It helps educate us and gives us good information to help guide your process, but this is great to do on the phone or in person. When it comes to e-mail or text, being brief and to the point is best. If we need more information, we will reach out.

3) Pick what makes you happy!!! You have to live in your house, we do not. We want you to pick what makes you happy and not what the newest trend is or what we have installed in other customers’ houses. You are paying for it, and we want you to love it.
