If you follow me or our business on Facebook, you probably have seen numerous pictures of Ashley and I coaching baseball. It is that wonderful time of the year when you work out in the morning, go to work, hustle home, and are running out the door to the ballfield. It is not only our busiest part of the working year, but it definitely is the busiest time with the kids as well. Even with the long days and nights, I would not change it for anything. For anybody that has ever played a sport or done something you love, when you surround yourself with that experience it again it brings a sense of joy to your mental being.
I am saying it is always sunshine and rainbows as I am coaching two teams, Maddox’s AAA Phillies and Jace’s AA Orioles team. We have a total of 24 (7-10) year olds who have endless amounts of energy and questions. The biggest joys I have had from coaching this season, is getting to spend quality time of the field with my boys and also watching our teams grow. We have seen kids get their fist hit or their first catch in the field. That is why I enjoy running home and heading to the baseball field.
